Winter 2023 Adult Education
“Living in Community: Loving Your Neighbor and Walking Together”
In a world and a culture that is continually polarized by issues and where people find
most of their connection on their phones and the internet rather than face to face in
community, the church has a unique place in the world and community to offer something that is different and better. The Scriptures don’t just call us to faith in Christ, but
the Gospel brings us into a community of believers which is a family and a body made
up of many parts. That community is also called together for the sake of loving each
other and loving their neighbors. We are called to be salt and light in this world. We
are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. What does that look like? How does the
Gospel bring us into a new community, and work in that community for the sake of
others? That will be the topic of our 6 week Adult Education class this winter looking at
“Living in Community: Loving Your Neighbor and Walking Together.”
Classes begin January 11th/12th and run 6 weeks until February 15th/16th

SUMMER 2020
DISCIPLESHIP IN THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW Led by: Pastor Joe Dapelo
If you have a red letter Bible and open up the Gospel of Matthew, you’ll notice large chunks of Jesus’ words as He teaches. The Gospel is often broken up into five discourses. We will explore what Jesus says to His disciples and to His church as we seek to teach and learn “all that (He) has commanded…”
