St. Peter’s Children’s Ministry desires to come along side parents in raising their children in a loving and nurturing environment to help them grow in the love and grace of God. Our goal is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus, learn about God’s Word, and how to share His love with others – all while having FUN!
Sunday School
Sunday mornings during our Sunday School hour, Preschool-5th graders gather as one in the Sanctuary for a time of welcome and fellowship. From there, students separate in their classes to learn more about God’s Word through stories and crafts.
KidZone
Wednesday night’s our 1st – 5th graders are invited to join us for KidZone. It is our mid-week refuel of God’s Word. This energized packed time is filled with games, crafts, snacks, and God time! We offer other events throughout the year that we encourage kids and families to join! Events include Vacation Bible School, Trunk or Treat, Christmas activities, and more!
Nursery
Our nursery staff play an influential role in making God’s love real to the little ones. We value each child as unique and special, to be cared for, nurtured, and shown the love of Christ. We provide nursery care on Sundays during our worship services for children under 5 years old; as well as during Sunday school for infants and toddlers. We also offer childcare Wednesday nights during Adult Education classes, as well as special events throughout the year.
Our Children’s Staff
We are committed to providing consistent, quality care. Our childcare leaders and teachers are background checked and CPR/First Aid certified. They also deeply desire to teach your children about our amazing God and Savior!
